Stefon Diggs participated in football and track at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School. He was chosen for The Washington Post’s first-team All-metro wide receiver squad and The Montgomery Gazette’s All-county squad.
He won the MVP award in the 2011 U.S. Army All-American Junior Combine following his senior year. He was also given a chance to participate in the 2012 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
He participated in track and field as a sprinter. He ran the third leg on the 4 100 m squad and posted a personal-best time of 22.30 seconds in the 200-meter dash during his senior year at the Darius Ray Invitational.
After high school, he committed to the University of Maryland over scholarship offers from Florida, USC, Cal, Ohio State, and Auburn, among others.
