He attended Ohio State during his collegiate football career before being selected by the Colts in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Campbell played in four games as a freshman in 2015 after redshirting his first year at Ohio State in 2014, however, he did not record any receptions.
He recorded 21 kick returns for 584 yards and 13 receptions for 121 yards as a sophomore in 2016. Campbell has 40 receptions for 584 yards and three touchdowns as a junior in 2017.
In 2018, he went back to Ohio State for his final year.
Prior to his college education, Campbell attended St. Vincent–St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio.
