Mike Edwards is an American football safety for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. He played college football at Kentucky and was selected in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Buccaneers.

Edwards’s football career started in 2019 and he was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft with the 99th overall pick. In Week 3 against the Denver Broncos, Edwards recorded his first career interception off a pass thrown by Brett Rypien late in the fourth quarter to secure a 28–10 Buccaneers win.
