Marcus Peters is a 29-year-old American football cornerback who plays for the Baltimore Ravens in the National Football League.
Peters was picked in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs and also played for the Los Angeles Rams.
Where did Marcus Peters go to high school?
Peters graduated from McClymonds High School in Oakland, California where he participated in multiple athletic disciplines for the school. He was selected MVP of the Oakland Athletic League after leading the Warriors to a 12-0 record, the school’s first flawless season.
Peters had seven interceptions and six scores on kick or punt returns as a senior; he also played wide receiver and kicker.
Peters announced his decision to forego his remaining eligibility to play college football and join the 2015 NFL Draft on December 16, 2014.
Peters met with the Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, San Francisco 49ers, Oakland Raiders, Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, and Houston Texans during his pre-draft visits.
Sports Illustrated ranked Peters as the second-best cornerback in the draft, and NFL analysts Mike Mayock and Charles Davis ranked him third. Peters was anticipated to be a first or second-round choice at the end of the pre-draft process.
