Luke Goedeke, an American football guard with the National Football League’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was born on November 21, 1998.

Goedeke, who is of German ancestry, was raised in Whitelaw, Wisconsin, and went to Valders High School there. Due to a bad shoulder injury, he nearly stopped playing tight end in high school.

At Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Goedeke began his college career. He brought in 12 receptions for 132 yards as a freshman.
Goedeke changed universities and attended Central Michigan University after the season. He switched from tight end to the offensive line while redshirting his first season at CMU.
As a sophomore redshirt, he was chosen to start all 14 of the Chippewas’ games at right tackle. Due to a knee injury, Goedeke missed the 2020 campaign. As a junior who had a redshirt, he was selected to the first team of the Mid-American Conference.
