Luis Guzmán is a Puerto Rican actor. His career spans over 40 years and includes several films and television series. He has appeared in the Paul Thomas Anderson films Boogie Nights (1997), Magnolia (1999) and Punch-Drunk Love (2002) and the Steven Soderbergh films Out of Sight (1998), The Limey (1999) and Traffic (2000).

Where did Luis Guzmán go to college and high school?

The veteran actor received his college education at The American University in New York. He however did not attend film school to formally train as an actor. His acting career began on the streets of New York where he appeared in various theatre productions and independent films. Guzmán appeared in the Yes We Can music video and Naturally Aged Cheddar Hunks TV commercials for Cabot Creamery in 2008.

After completing his studies in the institution’s Department of Drama, Guzmán moved to Mexico in 1999, Guzmán starred in the short-lived 2003 television comedy Luis and is a commentator on VH1’s I Love the ’80s, as well as I Love Toys and its sequels, including I Love the ’70s and I Love the ’90s. He co-starred in the 2007 HBO series John from Cincinnati, which lasted one season.
