Laviska Terrell Shenault Jr. is an American football wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). Shenault played college football at Colorado.
Shenault ended the season with 86 receptions (leading the NCAA in receptions per game, missing three with an injury; also the third most in a season in school history) for 1,011 yards (4th nationally, 9th best in school history) and six touchdowns, supplemented with 115 yards rushing for five touchdowns.

Shenault attended DeSoto High School the same four years McGuire was at Cedar Hill High School, both just south of Dallas. The football powerhouses are separated by just six miles and have been facing off annually since 1956.
As a freshman at Colorado in 2017, Shenault played in 12 games, recording seven receptions for 168 yards. As a sophomore in 2018, he became a starter and recorded 11 receptions for 211 yards and an 89-yard touchdown in the first game of the season against Colorado State.
