In his first season, he started five of the team’s 12 games and led the Wildcats in running each week, accumulating 1,187 yards and 10 touchdowns on 245 attempts (plus 22 receptions for 201 yards and one score) to earn honourable mention All-Big Ten recognition from the conference’s coaches.
