Evans was granted entry to the Senior Bowl after making a good impression on scouts during practice.
His injury prevented him from taking part in the actual game. He participated in the NFL Combine, but due to a quad injury, he could only finish the bench press. Evans also took part in Texas A&M’s Pro Day, where he finished most of the combine workouts that he couldn’t complete during the combine. He decided not to participate in the three-cone drill and short shuttle.
