Julian Bailey Dennison is a New Zealand actor born on October 26, 2002 (age 19 years), in Lower Hutt City, New Zealand.
He debuted in the 2013 film Shopping, for which he won the English Film and Television Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Julian Bailey Dennison started acting at the tender age of 11.

Julian Dennison had attended Naenae Primary School, where he got lucky after he auditioned to be part of the 2013 movie “Shopping”.

After school, he had the opportunity to attend  Hutt International Boys’ School in Upper Hutt. A school purposely for grooming young boys into men.

Did Julian Dennison go to film school?

Julian Dennison did not need to go film school considering how much talent the young boy possessed.

After his role in the 2013 movie Shopping, he was cast in the Australian film Paper Planes (2015).

He also had the chance to act alongside Ryan Reynolds, as Russell Collins / Firefist in the 2018 Marvel film Deadpool 2.

Dennison exhibited great talent and was given a role in an advertisement for the NZ Transport Agency to discourage driving under the influence of drugs.

His advertisement became an internet sensation in New Zealand and Australia which was directed by Taika Waititi.

Taika Waititi later asked Dennison to star in his film Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016) without the need to audition. The film went on to become New Zealand’s highest-grossing film to date and was critically acclaimed.

In 2020, Dennison co-starred in The Christmas Chronicles 2, portraying Belsnickel and also voicing his elf form, and in 2021, he had a large supporting role in the monster sequel Godzilla vs. Kong.
