Having been raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Paschal was born in Washington, D.C. In high school, he competed in basketball and football at Our Lady of Good Counsel.
Paschal recorded 5.5 sacks, 64 tackles for a loss, and nine total tackles as a senior. Despite receiving offers from Maryland, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Clemson, Ohio State, and USC, four-star recruit Paschal chose Kentucky Wildcats as his college football team.
