Jessie Bates III, an American football safety with the National Football League’s Cincinnati Bengals, was born on February 26, 1997. (NFL). Bates made his intention to forfeit his remaining eligibility and enter the 2018 NFL Draft public on January 4, 2018.
Jessie participated in the Indianapolis NFL Scouting Combine and finished most of the activities, however, he decided against doing the bench press. He totalled 18 punt returns for 73 yards, five interceptions (two of which were returned for scores), 100 tackles (3.5 of which were for loss), four pass deflections, and one forced fumble. He was selected for the ACC All-Freshman First-team, the All-ACC Second-team, and the USA Today Freshman All-America Team following the season.
