Jermaine Curtis Johnson II is a defensive end for the New York Jets of the National Football League. He was born on January 7, 1999. (NFL).

Before Johnson moved to Florida State in 2021, he played college football at Independence CC and Georgia. At Florida State, he was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year.

Eden Prairie High School is a four-year public high school in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, United States established in 1923. The present high school opened in 1981 and was significantly added to in 1990, 1994 and 1997. It was named a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 1996 by the United States Department of Education.

As a sophomore, Johnson played in all the Georgia Bulldogs’ games and had 20 tackles and 2.5 sacks.

As a senior, he had four sacks, 16 tackles, and 11 quarterback hurries, which put him in third place on the team.

Johnson was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year and to the first team of All-ACC after finishing the season with 70 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, and 12 sacks, which led the ACC.

Near the end of the season, Johnson went through the transfer portal and signed up for his last season of NCAA eligibility at Florida State.

In his first game for the Seminoles, which was a 41-38 overtime loss to Notre Dame, Johnson made seven tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks. He was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Defensive Lineman of the Week.
