Where did Jarran Reed go to high school?
Reed graduated from Goldsboro High School in Goldsboro, North Carolina in 2011.
Due to his subpar grades, Reed was required to spend a year at Hargrave Military Academy after he graduated from high school.
Between 2012 and 2013, Reed attended East Mississippi Community College. In the 2013 campaign, Reed assisted in guiding his group to the NJCAA national title. For East Mississippi Community College, Reed recorded 100 career stops, including 10.5 tackles for loss. Before 2014, Reed switched to the University of Alabama.
He participated in all 14 of his first season at Alabama’s games, starting 13. He had one sack and made 55 tackles. Reed debated going into the 2015 NFL Draft but ultimately decided to finish his senior year at Alabama.
During his senior year, Reed started every game and led his squad to the CFP national title. He registered 57 tackles and one sack in his senior season.
