Even though Isaach de Bankolé pursued a master’s degree in physics and mathematics, it is uncertain which high school he attended.

A chance encounter with French director Gérard Vergez inspired him to enroll at the Parisian acting school Cours Simon after completing an aviation school and earning his private pilot’s license.

Zachari Bankolé, an Ivorian-French-American actor also known as Isaach or Isaac de Bankolé, was created on August 12, 1957. He is well-known for his roles in the Jim Jarmusch films Black Panther and its sequel, Chocolat, and Casino Royale.
