Gus Edwards is a professional gridiron football running back for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Miami (FL) before transferring to Rutgers and signing with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2018. Edwards’s nickname is “Gus Bus”, known for his large size and “bruising” running style.

Edwards was born in Liberia and moved to the United States at the age of five. He attended and played high school football at Tottenville High School. Edwards was named a three-star recruit by ESPN, 247Sports.com, Rivals.com, and Scout.com.

Edwards signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent on May 4, 2018. He was waived on September 1, 2018 and was signed to the practice squad the next day.He was promoted to the active roster on October 13, 2018. In Week 6 of the 2018 season, he made his professional debut in the 21–0 victory over the Tennessee Titans. He had 10 carries for 42 yards in the game.
