Harvie began performing professionally after graduating from the Vancouver Playhouse Acting School. He spent years touring British Columbia’s schools with “Greenthumb Theatre,” appearing first on numerous fringe festivals and then on major stages.
Harvie, a member of the Vancouver TheatreSports team, defeated opponents from all around the world to win the 1995 Just for Laughs Improv Tournament championship in Montreal.
