Devin Eric Lloyd, a linebacker with the National Football League’s Jacksonville Jaguars, was born on September 30, 1998.

Lloyd attended Chula Vista, California’s Otay Ranch High School. In high school, he punted, played wide receiver, and played safety.
He turned down offers from UNLV, Colorado State, Sacramento State, San Jose State, and Utah State in favour of the University of Utah, his sole power five offer, despite being a 3-star recruit.
Lloyd played in all 14 games as a backup in 2018 at Utah after redshirting his freshman year in 2017.
He recorded six tackles. He started in the 2019 season. He recorded 91 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and one interception returned for a score in 14 games. Lloyd has 48 tackles and two sacks in five games as a junior in 2020.
