Asiasi was born in San Mateo, California, and grew up in the Shoreview neighbourhood. He has 49 tackles, five pass breakups, and four sacks on defence in addition to 17 receptions for 311 yards and five touchdowns during his senior year. The 2016 U.S. Army All-American Bowl was attended by him.
