Desmond Ridder, an American football quarterback for the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons, was born on August 31, 1999.

Before being chosen by the Atlanta Falcons in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, he played college football at Cincinnati, where he twice won the AAC Offensive Player of the Year award.
During his actual rookie year, Ridder redshirted.
He earned 583 yards rushing and five touchdowns while playing as the Bearcats’ starting quarterback as a redshirt freshman, passing for 2,445 yards and 20 scores, and was voted the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Rookie of the Year.
Ridder ran for 650 yards and five touchdowns in addition to completing 179 of 325 passes for 2,164 yards and 18 touchdowns against nine interceptions as a redshirt sophomore.
After completing 14 of 24 throws for 95 yards and one touchdown and rushing for 105 yards and three scores in a 38-6 victory over Boston College, he was voted the MVP of the 2020 Birmingham Bowl.
