Swift was Georgia’s third running back as a freshman in 2017, trailing eventual NFL starters Nick Chubb and Sony Michel. He gained 597 yards and three touchdowns on 73 carries.
Although he was used more frequently as a receiver, Swift and junior Elijah Holyfield shared carries pretty evenly in their sophomore year.
During that season, he ran for over 100 yards in three straight games against Florida, Kentucky, and Auburn.
He recorded six receptions for 63 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown in the SEC Championship game against Alabama, which the team lost 35-28. He also had 16 carries for 75 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown.
