Danai Gurira is an American-Zimbabwean actress and playwright who happens to be one of four children of Roger Gurira and his wife, Josephine Gurira. She was born to the couple on February 14, 1978, in Grinnell, Iowa, United States, hence she is 44 years old now.
She is a talented actress who is best known for her starring roles as Michonne on the AMC horror drama series The Walking Dead and as Okoye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero films, Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War (both in 2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019), and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
