Belgian-born American football punter Corliss Leendert Waitman plays for the National Football League’s Denver Broncos (NFL).
At South Alabama, he played collegiate football.
Where did Corliss Waitman go to high school?
Corliss had his High school education in Milton FL.
From 2014 until 2018, Waitman played collegiate football for South Alabama. He changed schools to Mississippi State University in February 2019. Waitman, however, was not permitted to play college football in 2019 since the NCAA refused him an additional year of eligibility.
When Corliss was born, his professional basketball player father Jose was playing in Belgium. Corliss’s family relocated to the Netherlands, where he grew up.
He followed his father to the US when he was 15 years old. When Waitman was in high school, he moved from soccer to football.
The Denver Broncos picked up Waitman off waivers on January 17, 2022.
Edmonton also selected Waitman in the draught.
On August 29, 2022, veteran punter Sam Martin was dismissed, and Waitman was appointed the team’s starting punter.
