George Clooney was raised in Georgetown, Kentucky in a devout Catholic family.
Clooney speaks highly of his Catholic roots, saying: “I used to go to confession every week….I grew up with a great sense of structure and respect.”
It is obvious that Clooney has outgrown his childhood faith and is now happy to declare to the public that he is an Agnostic. In fact, certain remarks suggest that Clooney may be a more ardent atheist than others.
