Travis Fimmel, an actor and former model, was born on July 15, 1979, in Australia.
He is best known for playing Ragnar Lothbrok in the History Channel television series Vikings as well as Anduin Lothar in the live-action Warcraft adaptation (2013–2017). He also appeared in the science fiction Raised by Wolves HBO Max series (2020–2022).
Fimmel debuted in the music videos for Jennifer Lopez’s “I’m Real” (original version) and “Someone to Call My Lover” by Janet Jackson (both 2001).
One of his instructors was Hollywood acting coach Ivana Chubbuck. He claimed that “overcoming your anxieties [and] allowing yourself to be vulnerable in front of people” is “half of the acting.” It took him two years to get the courage to attend his first job audition.
