Stephen Lang is an American actor. He is known for roles in films including Manhunter (1986), Gettysburg, Tombstone (both 1993), Gods and Generals (2003), Public Enemies (2009), Conan the Barbarian (2011), The Girl on the Train (2013) and Don’t Breathe (2016).
Outside of these roles, he has had an extensive career on Broadway and has received a Tony Award nomination for his role in the 1992 production of The Speed of Darkness. He won the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in James Cameron’s Avatar (2009). From 2004 to 2006, he was co-artistic director of the Actors Studio.

Stephan Lang has been married to Kristina Watson since June 1, 1980. Watson works as a teacher and costume designer. The couple has four children, including son Noah, who is a producer. Lang has worked with Noah on the movies ‘Sun Belt Express’ and ‘The Monkey’s Paw.
On May 30, 2010, Swarthmore College awarded Lang an honorary degree for his contribution to theatre, film, and television. The actor’s son Noah got his bachelor’s degree in the same ceremony.
