Shaun was performing stand-up at a comedy showcase when the showcase’s host saw him and made a comment on his intriguing appearance.
He had been invited by his commercial agent. He then ordered Shaun to stand up and requested that the agents in the room sign him.
Shaun switched his focus to television and cinema after performing in two national tours of musical theater performances. He also started studying the Meisner technique very closely.
Since he has performed in musical theater since he was a teenager, the Meisner technique significantly increased his focus on listening and reduced the complexity of his acting.
This shift in direction in his thinking helped him land his first television guest star role in the brief series Bar Karma starring William Sanderson.
