Seth Woodbury MacFarlane is an American actor, animator, filmmaker, comedian, and singer. He is the creator and star of the television series Family Guy and The Orville, and co-creator of the television series American Dad! and The Cleveland Show. He also wrote, directed, and starred in the films Ted and its sequel Ted 2, and A Million Ways to Die in the West.
Seth MacFarlane was born on October 26, 1973 (age 49 years), in Kent, Connecticut, United States.
He was an animator and writer for Hanna-Barbera for television series including Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, Dexter’s Laboratory, and Larry & Steve.

Rachael MacFarlane is married to animator Spencer Laudiero. The duo got married in 2018 and they have two daughters together.

Seth MacFarlane was born and raised in Kent, Connecticut. His parents, Ronald Milton MacFarlane and Ann Perry (née Sager) were also born in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Seth has roots in New England going way back to the 1600s and is a descendant of Mayflower passenger William Brewster.

According to sources, the old couple met in 1970 when they lived and worked in Boston, Massachusetts. They married later that year and moved to Kent in 1972, where Ann began working in the admissions office at South Kent School.

On July 16, 2010, MacFarlane’s mother, Ann Perry Sager, died from cancer. Her death was reported by Larry King on his show Larry King Live, who acknowledged a conversation he had with her during an interview with MacFarlane in May 2010
