According to his record label, Robert Gordon, a well-known revivalist in the 1970s, passed away at the age of 75.
The official statement from Cleopatra Records, which announced Gordon’s passing on Tuesday, was written by vice president Matt Green.

The sickness forced Gordon to postpone his tour in July, the family explained when they first created the fundraising website. Unfortunately, during the past few months, his health has gotten worse.
By the time the family reached its $20,000 target, more than 180 donors had contributed $15,969 to the cause. It is still unclear whether AML was involved in his passing.
The American Cancer Society claims that the kind of cancer Gordon had begun in the bone marrow before spreading to the blood. It has the capacity to spread to various organs, including the liver, spleen, brain, spinal cord, and liver, to mention a few.
