Ricky Gervais is a British comedian best known for his work on the TV show The Office. On June 25, 1961, he was born in Reading, Berkshire, England (2001–03). After completing his philosophy studies at the University of London, Gervais formed the little-known band Seona Dancing, which had a little hit in the Philippines in 1985 with the song “More to Lose.”

Ricky was born to his parents Lawrence Raymond “Jerry” Gervais his father who was born in 1919 and pass away in 2002 at the age of 83 83 years. He was a Franco-Ontarian of French Canadian and Iroquois origin from Pain Court, Ontario and went to the UK during WWII while on foreign duty.
Ricky disclosed that his mother, Eva, died following a struggle with lung cancer. His parents are all no longer alive.
