Satya Prakash Srivastava, professionally known as Raju Srivastava and popularly known as Gajodhar, was an Indian comedian, actor, and politician.
He debuted in stand-up comedy with the talent program The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, where he finished second runner-up. He then competed in the spin-off, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge – Champions, where he earned the title “The King of Comedy.”
Srivastav also appeared on Bigg Boss (Hindi Season 3), the Indian version of Big Brother (franchise).
After more than two months in the house, he was voted out on December 4, 2009. Later, he appeared on the comedy show Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala.
Raju Srivastav dies: Cause of death revealed
On 10 August 2022, while working out at the gym, he suffered a heart attack shortly after complaining of chest pain. He had an angioplasty and was placed on a ventilator.
During his therapy, his brain swelled, and he was also treated by neurologists. His health has been described as critical since the heart attack, and he died on September 21, 2022, while receiving treatment in Delhi AIIMS.
