Peter Tobin dies: Cause of death revealed
According to reports, Tobin allegedly died confined to his bed from cancer while refusing to eat or take medication.
The killer was known to have murdered three women, but it is believed that there were many more. Moreover, for raping, killing, and concealing the body of Polish student Angelika Kluk, 23, in a Glasgow church in 2006, Tobin was incarcerated for life.
Police named Tobin as a suspect because he had been a handyman at the church. He is regarded as one of the worst serial killers to ever operate in the UK.
The murderer was also serving a life sentence for the 1991 killings of 18-year-old Dinah McNicol and 15-year-old Vicky Hamilton, both of Redding, near Falkirk. In the yard of his former home in Margate, Kent, their bodies were discovered 17 years later and buried there.
