Wernick is a Canadian producer and screenwriter who works in both the film and television industries. The 44-year-old Canadian-American writer is also most known for writing the screenplays with Rhett Reese for the superhero movie Deadpool (2016) and its sequel (2018).
Three Emmy Awards have also been given to Wernick for his work in the news industry, which has included producing positions at KVOA, KOLD, KTVK, KSL, and KCAL.
