Lavender Country, a band from the 1970s, lost its lead vocalist and guitarist on Monday at the age of 78. The band revealed information about Patrick Haggerty’s cause of death following his passing.

Haggerty was raised on a dairy farm in Washington after being born in 1944. Lavender Country was founded by him in 1972, and the group released their self-titled debut the following year.
