Nigerian-born Onye Eme-Akwari works as an actor, musician, producer, and teacher.
He has always loved music, and at the age of 4, after observing the musicians in the church choir every Sunday, he began teaching himself to play the piano and the drums.

His passion for the arts led him to his current career path. Before he became a Hollywood superstar, he worked part-time as an instructor in marching bands, running his own indoor drum line, and joining a world-class drum corps.

Before obtaining a master’s degree in Meisner acting at the University of Georgia, he studied acting at the Robert Mello Studio as well as Viewpoints and Improv.
