Onye Eme-Akwari is a Nigerian-born actor, musician, producer, and educator. His artistic journey began when he was four years old when he began teaching himself to play the piano and drums after watching the musicians in the church choir every Sunday.
As a result of this, he has performed and taught in high school marching bands, independent indoor drum lines, and world-class drum corps. He has traveled the entire United States as well as numerous locations in Europe and Asia performing ensembles from around the country.

He has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Music and Entertainment Business from Kennesaw State University, as well as a master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Georgia, in addition to his acting qualifications.
Onye enjoys listening to audiobooks, eating too much sushi, and rewatching his favorite movie, About Time, when he is not teaching or performing.
