Pastor, singer, songwriter, and record producer Montell Du’Sean Barnett Jordan was born in the United States on December 3, 1968. Jordan, who is best known for his 1995 single “This Is How We Do It,” was up until his departure from Def Jam in 2003 the main male solo artist on the Def Soul brand.
