Actor Miles Alexander Teller was born in the United States on February 20, 1987.
He portrayed Andrew Neiman, a jazz drummer, in Whiplash, and Lt. Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw, a pilot, in Top Gun: Maverick.
In addition to co-starring with Shailene Woodley in the coming-of-age drama The Spectacular Now (2013) and the Divergent movie series, Teller made his first full-length film in 2010.

Before his family relocated to Citrus County, Florida, when Teller was twelve, he spent his early years in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Growing up, he played the alto saxophone, drums, piano, and guitar in addition to acting and serving as president of his high school’s theatre club.
