Maude Gabriella Hirst (born February 1988) is an English actress. She is well-known for her roles in the television shows The Tudors (2007-2010) and Vikings. Hirst was born in Hackney, East London.
She is the daughter of producer and writer Michael Hirst and artist Susan Aldworth, and she was raised primarily by her mother. Hirst was awarded a scholarship to the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London.

Hirst made her acting debut in the second season of the 2013 television series Vikings, where she spent the most of her early acting career as Torvi. She earned the title of series regular during the sixth season.
Before making her cinematic debut, Hirst launched the female-focused production firm Tuppence Films. Between 2008 and 2010, she portrayed Kat Ashley in her father’s British television series The Tudors.
From 2013 through 2017, she portrayed Helga, Floki’s wife, in Vikings for four seasons. Gustaf Skarsgrd played Floki. After Vikings became a hit, Hirst made the decision to give acting a rest and focus on the practice of mindfulness instead.
