Veteran Mario served as a Photographer’s Mate in the US Navy.
Along with his 20 years of experience as a writer, producer, and director, Mario has also held positions as an art director, G&E supervisor, camera operator, and first assistant director (FAD) on more than 30 different movies.
He feels that his background in several disciplines has equipped him to succeed as a director and AD. In the office and on the set, he has advanced through the production ranks from PA to First AD.

His recent nomination was at the Utah Film Awards for Best Feature Film 2021. He won the August Award for Best short film at the Kosice International Film Festival 2020.
