Mahsa Amini, also known as Zhina/Jina Amini, was an Iranian lady detained by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Guidance Patrol, a special police unit in charge of the public execution of Islamic hijab rules, for wearing a hijab that did not fulfill the government’s mandated Hijab requirements.
