Machiko Soga, a Japanese voice actress and actor, lived from March 18, 1938, to May 7, 2006. She also performed under the name Stella Soga.
Machiko was born in Hachioji, Tokyo, Japan. She had a modest upbringing and was raised as a singer despite having acting talent. Her father raised her when her mother passed away while she was a young child. She has a sister and two brothers.

She developed her own lotions and excelled in physics and math in high school. She failed a chemistry presentation in school and made the decision to learn acting to get over her stage fear. Later on, she was awarded a diploma by the Tokyo Announce Academy. She took a trip in 1973.
Her two brothers, one of whom perished in World War II and the other of whom is still alive. In 1991, her father went away from cancer. She completed her high school education at Tokyo Metropolitan Minamitama.
