The Fox Searchlight comedy Baggage Claim, which rose to the top of the comedy charts in America, was previously executive produced by Sisson-Talbert. Sisson-Talbert then served as executive producer of the Oscar-winning movie Almost Christmas (Universal Pictures), starring Danny Glover, Gabrielle Union, and Mo’Nique. Like Baggage Claim before it, Almost Christmas helped propel Sisson-Talbert to the top place among domestic comedies. The Netflix original movie El Camino Christmas, which was written by Oscar winner Ted Melfi and was directed by David E. Talbert, had Sisson-Talbert as an executive producer.
