An American actress of South Korean descent, Linda Park is best known for playing the communications officer Hoshi Sato in the Star Trek: Enterprise television series.
As Ellie Satler’s assistant in Jurassic Park III (2001), Park played a supporting role. Less than a year after graduating, she was chosen to play Hoshi Sato in Star Trek: Enterprise, the sixth installment of the Star Trek franchise. Star Trek: Enterprise debuted in September 2001.
The communications officer of the spacecraft, Sato, has a natural talent for interpreting other languages. Korean, English, and some French are all languages that Park speaks with ease.
