Born on June 21, 1985, Elizabeth Woolridge Grant is an American singer-songwriter better known by her stage name Lana Del Rey.
She is recognized for the cinematic aspect of her songs, which regularly make references to both modern pop culture and Americana from the 1950s to the 1960s while delving into tragic romance, glitter, and tragedy.
In addition to being nominated for six Grammy Awards and a Golden Globe Award, she has won a number of awards, including two Brit Awards, two MTV Europe Music Awards, and a Satellite Award.
