Kym Johnson-Herjavec’s twins are ringing in their sixth birthday with a magical celebration at Disneyland! The former Dancing with the Stars star, 47, took to Instagram on Wednesday, April 24, to share a Reel commemorating the special day for her twins, Hudson and Haven.
In the video, the family can be seen enjoying the festivities at Disneyland, with Haven dressed in a princess outfit and Hudson sporting a Disneyland sweatshirt. Johnson-Herjavec’s husband, Robert Herjavec, 61, also joined in on the fun, wearing a matching Disneyland sweatshirt and holding hands with Hudson as they enjoyed the park.
“6 years ago my dreams came true with @robertherjavec. Happy birthday my babies 💕 couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate you turning 6 🎉🎂 Thank you @disneyland for the most magical day ever 💕,” Johnson-Herjavec captioned the heartwarming post.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2016, welcomed their twins at 41 years old. In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Johnson-Herjavec expressed her gratitude for her family life, saying, “And it just made me realize you really do have to trust the timing of your life. I was thinking, ‘Gosh, am I ever going to find the one?’ And I’m glad I just didn’t settle just for the sake of it.”
She continued, “But it’s truly a miracle. And to have met Robert, who is incredible, so supportive and my best friend, and then to have these miracle children was just absolutely amazing. So I couldn’t be happier. I have to pinch myself. It’s truly magical.”
Johnson-Herjavec also shared her thoughts on co-parenting with Herjavec, highlighting the importance of spending quality time with each child individually. “We try and now do Daddy days and Mommy days, so we’re not always just having the two of them do exactly the same thing,” she explained. “So Robert will take Haven out like a daddy/daughter day or take Hudson out, and me as well.”
The family splits their time between Australia and Canada, with Robert going above and beyond as a parent. Johnson-Herjavec noted, “Robert takes the bus up to the school, which is…I don’t think he’s ever taken a bus before.”
