Joseph finished the 2021 season with 57 tackles, one sack, three forced fumble recoveries, and five pass interceptions, and was named first-team All-Big Ten Conference. Joseph announced his intention to enter the 2022 NFL Draft after the season ended. Joseph received an invitation to participate in the 2022 Senior Bowl following the completion of his college career.
