Walfredo Reyes, Sr., a Cuban drummer, and Matilde Pages, a Puerto Rican mother, are Kamar’s parents. He is the brother of percussionists Daniel de Los Reyes, a former member of Yanni and currently playing with the Zac Brown Band, and Walfredo Reyes, Jr., who plays percussion for the band Chicago.
Kamar appeared in Toni Braxton’s music video for the song “Spanish Guitar” as well as the contentious movie “Love and Suicide.”
