In August 2015, a son, who is their first child, was born. In June 2017, their second son was born.
He and McCauley do not want to provide the public with any information about their kids, not even their first names. Since October 2020, he has been in Wellington with his family after relocating his new TV production there in reaction to the COVID-19 outbreak.
