Jon Hamm parents: Meet Deborah Hamm, Daniel Hamm

Jon Hamm has had to deal with some legal issues whilst being a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity at the University of Texas. Hamm was arrested for participating in a violent hazing incident in November 1990 where he lit a pledge’s jeans on fire, shoved his face in the dirt, and struck him with a paddle over his right kidney, before leading the pledge around the fraternity house with a hammer claw around the pledge’s testicles.
This incident resulted in the closedown of the fraternity. Hamm pleaded guilty to all the charges and completed probation under the terms of a deferred adjudication. The charges were dismissed in August 1995 following the completion of his probation.
Jonathan Daniel Hamm is an Americ, popularly known as Jon Hamm is an American-born actor who is best known for his role as Don Draper in the period drama television series Mad Men, for which he won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Series.

Hamm was born on March 10, 1971, in St. Louis, Missouri, and is the son of Deborah (née Garner) Hamm and Daniel Hamm. His mother is a secretary, and his father managed a family trucking company. He is of German, English, and Irish descent; his surname came from a long line of German immigrants.

According to Sources, his parents divorced when he was just two years old, and he lived in the St. Louis suburb of Creve Coeur with his mother. His mother died when he was ten years old, she died from colon cancer when he was ten.

He then moved to live with his father and grandmother in nearby Normandy, unfortunately, his father died when he was 20 years old.

Jon Hamm has two siblings who have been identified as Jennifer Hinze and Julie Schulte. Not much is known about them as they have chosen to live private lives away from the media.
